Florian Silbereisen, one of Germany's most popular show masters and host of the hugely successful television show 'Fest der Volksmusik', presented gold to the ensemble of Ich war noch niemals in New York. Nearly five million television viewers were watching the prime-time programme on 5 June when the musical received its third extraordinary award: a Gold Disc for more than 100,000 cast albums sold. This is yet another milestone for Stage Entertainment Germany's first original production. The show has already won the Live Entertainment Award and the Krone der Volksmusik.
